Custom made Dr. Suess quote

This was a commission piece. When I was asked to create this quote out of wood, I struggled to find an interesting way to do it. But I found the quote in this great font online and printed that out and cut out almost each letter individually and painted them different colours to make it fun. I added the cute sun for an extra embellishment. I did not make the backing as this needed a great frame but that is not my expertise so I asked a client of mine at the time if she would make me one. I can’t remember how big it ended up being but it was about 3′ tall x 2′ wide.
