I made the Oilers logo first as I live in Edmonton and I figured it would be a good seller at the Farmer’s Market. Once people saw that one though, they asked me to make logos from their team of choice as well. These are cut from 1/2″ baltic birch (the smaller Oilers one is 1/4″) and painted accordingly then reassembled in differing depths to make the whole thing more interesting. This is a form of woodworking called segmentation.
