A more simple segmentation piece

I bought a book of patterns with all sorts of segmentation animals. This is the simplest and the one I figured I should start with to get a hang of it. Cut from 1 piece of 1/2″ baltic birch, stained, then reassembled like a jigsaw puzzle at differing heights to give it depth. Held together with hot glue on the backside.
