A gift
I made this as a gift for my boss as she has been great to work for. Each of the 6 layers is cut from 1/8″ baltic birch and stained alternately in light and dark stain before being glued together and then varnished.

I totally love this beautiful piece of art that you created for me Tamara … but not quite as much as I love you! I still recall coming to work early in the morning to a beautiful gift bag hanging on my door handle. BIG TEARS!
