My first intarsia pieces

I wanted to try instarsia so I started with these simple dolphins. They came as a kit that included all the required hardwoods as well as the pattern and detailed instructions. Intarsia is cut from different hardwoods, shaped by rounding the edges, reassembled onto a backing piece and varnished.
