Just to see if I could

Turns out I could. This is my most ambitious pieces to date. It was amazingly challenging. Especially making it all square and fit together properly and the little doors that had to open almost broke me. But it all worked out and the little bird pops out and cuckoos every hour too! I certainly couldn’t use my usual baltic birch plywood for this amazing clock so I had to find a supplier that sold hardwood. I found a place online (in the States) and it cost me a pretty penny to order enough 1/4″ walnut and red oak. The place I got the pattern from also had a kit that came with all the required hardware. This hangs at my mom’s place and I am exceedingly proud of it.
